Dave Acheson - Dave Acheson, banjo, started playing banjo in 1986 when he joined the Sacramento Banjo Band. He was a member of Absolute JB for several years. In 1997 became the leader of the Black Tuesday JB until 1998 when he was transferred back to Wichita, Kansas. In 2000 he was back in Sacramento with the Black Tuesday JB.

Harold "Hal" Needham (Leader) - Harold "Hal" Needham, trumpet, began playing trumpet in junior high school. Has played with numerous local bands around the Sacramento area. For the past 25 years has played Trad Jazz with the No Name JB, Absolute JB & became leader of the Black Tuesday JB in 1999.

Dominic Ruggieri - Dominic Ruggieri, reeds, began playing reeds at an early age. He organized & led his high school dance/jazz band. Played with numerous jazz groups while in college. He was a member of the Saratoga Community Concert Band in the late 80’s. Upon retiring in 2001 he moved to the foothills from the Bay Area & joined the Black Tuesday JB in 2002.

Don Irving - Don Irving, bass sax, began playing saxophone in elementary school. He started playing for dances while in high school & continued on into college. In 1980, Don joined the Monterey Hot Jazz Society & started playing traditional jazz. He currently plays bass saxophone with the Monterey Lighthouse Jazz Band, the Bye Bye Blues Boys, and the Black Tuesday JB.

Tom Brewer - Tom Brewer, drums, has played drums since his teens in about every type & style of music from Rock-n-Roll to Trad Jazz. He is a member of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society Street Band, was a member in the Absolute JB & now with Black Tuesday JB.

Suzanne Wiggins - Suzanne Wiggins, vocalist, has performed with various local bands singing a variety of styles from Top 40, Rock-n-Roll to standards between 1975 – 1984. She was invited to join the Absolute JB & is now a member of the Black Tuesday JB.

Alan Shaw - Alan Shaw, piano, has played piano since grade school. Took time off while family was growing up. Returned to piano & music in early 80’s. For 7 + years was leader & keyboard player for “R U SURE BAND” in the Bay Area. On retirement moved to Bakersfield. Graduate of the Sacramento Trad Jazz Adult Camp.

Mike Hudson - Mike Hudson, trombone, for the last few years has been trombonist with the Beez’ Kneez Jazz Band. Since the Beez’ Kneez JB has retired, Mike has become the main trombonist with the Black Tuesday Jazz Band. He has played with several of the local bands through the years.
